The Office of Technology Training and Compliance is focused on improving technical skills for new and experienced employees in order to enhance their performance in achieving the systemwide goals as stated in The Compass: Our Pathway To Excellence. This office supports all Baltimore County Public Schools employees in their use of technology so that all students meet the requirements of a technologically-oriented society. This office manages Perform, the employee evaluation system, Professional Learning, the online registration system for training and development, and Safe Schools, the online compliance management system.

Technology workshops and inservice courses are available to all Baltimore County Public Schools employees. Training workshops and inservice courses are available on the following topics: Advantage HR, Advantage Financial, Kronos, Microsoft Office (including Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Office 365/One Drive and Teams), and the Professional Development Cycle. Additional workshops include Creating Accessible Documents (in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0) and workshops on various phone models using the Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems.
