Dear BCPS Parent / Guardian:

We hope you had an amazing summer, and you are ready to begin an exciting school year! This letter contains important information regarding your student(s) for the Food and Nutrition Program's School Year 2023-2024.

Community Eligibility Program (CEP)
All enrolled students of BCPS will receive breakfast and lunch, free of charge, every day! Breakfast will be distributed at kiosk locations, as students enter the building. Late arrivals are encouraged to stop by the cafeteria to receive a meal. Lunch includes a variety of fresh and nutritious options, to include a minimum of four entrée choices daily! A minimum of three fresh fruits and three fresh vegetables are offered daily, along with milk, juice and whole-grains.

Pin Numbers
All returning BCPS students will use the same pin number as the prior year, even if they changed schools. This number is shown above, for your reference. Pin numbers can also be accessed through your
FOCUS PARENT PORTAL.  (Instructions)

Price List

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program
Select elementary schools have been awarded a grant to participate in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program! This exciting program is an absolute favorite among students. Students at these participating schools will have the unique opportunity to learn about and taste a variety of fresh produce, in the classroom each week.
**A list of participating schools is now available on our website.

Share Tables
Share Tables are very popular in all cafeterias. Students place any unwanted (wrapped) items on the share table. Then, any student who would like additional food or beverages, beyond their meal, can simply take what they want free of charge. So, students with a stronger appetite are happy and we are minimizing waste at the same time!

Affordable Connectivity Program
As a result of our participation in the CEP Program, all families are eligible to receive a discount of $30 per month off your internet bill. You will need this unique letter with your name and address, as well as your student's name and school information in order to apply for this benefit. Please visit GetInternet.Gov to apply and/or ask questions.

We hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and can’t wait to see you in the cafeteria!

Best Regards,

Ms. Jaime L. Hetzler
