Students with 504s and IEPs
A student with a 504 Plan or IEP who is dually enrolled in a CCBC course must contact the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Office at CCBC to request accommodations prior to the start of the course. BCPS does not share the student’s 504 Plan or IEP with CCBC, nor does the college automatically implement what is on the student’s current Plan due to the differences in legal requirements at the post-secondary level.
A student who has a documented disability that impacts their academic performance may be eligible for services. Students who are dually enrolled in CCBC are responsible for self-disclosing their disabilities to the SAS Office as well as providing documentation to determine eligibility.
See the Student Quick Guide - CCBC Student Accessibility Services Brochure for more information.
