Apply to our Career and Technical Education Advisory Council (CTEAC)

As part of our continued efforts in striving towards quality Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs of study, we at Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) and the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) review our Advisory Council membership each year. We believe to appropriately influence the effectiveness of our programs we choose to implement.

The Career and Technical Education Advisory Council of the Baltimore County Public Schools and Community College of Baltimore County serves as joint advisor, advocate, reviewer, and supporter for Career and Technical Education programs which prepare learners academically, technically, and interpersonally for career and lifelong learning. CTEAC is comprised of a group of citizens focused on ensuring a quality career and technical education experience for every student. The council consists of dedicated individuals representing a wide range of Baltimore metropolitan business and community groups. We ask that volunteer members serve initial 3-year terms which can be reviewed for an additional 3-year term. We meet 4 times per year and hold an annual retreat. Currently we are virtual, but we have always met face-to-face with a meal provided, sponsored by BCPS/CCBC.

We appreciate any interest you have in serving as a CTEAC member. We sincerely hope that you join us to support our students and programs. If you are interested, please inform us by June 30th – or at any time during the year - by completing the following document or the following form CTEAC Membership Application.
