Northwest Area Elementary School Boundary Study #2

Purpose:

The purpose of this boundary study is to:

  • Expand attendance area for Deer Park Elementary School replacement.
  • Expand attendance area for Scotts Branch Elementary School replacement.
  • Provide capacity relief to participating Northwest Area elementary schools.
  • Facilitate the move of students currently attending Campfield ELC to attend their home school or regional program.

Implementation:

The new boundary will be effective starting SY 2025-2026 (August 2025).

The boundary study committee will be identified this summer and will convene in September 2024. Between September 2024 and December 2024, the group will meet seven (7) times, including hosting a public information meeting. In February and March of 2025, the Board of Education will receive the recommendation, hold a public hearing, and take action on the committee’s recommendation.  

To express your interest in participating on the boundary study committee, please complete the Committee Member Interest Form or contact your school principal no later than July 8, 2024. Participation is limited.
