The Department of Organizational Development and Leadership is guided by the professional learning standards established by Learning Forward. Learning Forward standards focus on the planning, implementation, and measurement of high-quality professional learning.
In 2021, Learning Forward began the process of revising the Standards for Professional Learning. Upon request, the Department of Organizational Development and Leadership and the Department of Equity and Cultural Proficiency collaborated to provide the Standards Advisory Council with input, revisions, and recommendations for the draft of the revised standards and the accompanying implementation and assessment tools. This included a targeted review of the revised Standards for Professional Learning through a collaborative group discussion protocol.
