School System Honors

The Association of School Business Officials International awarded BCPS its Meritorious Budget Award for excellence in budget presentation. BCPS has earned this recognition every fiscal year since FY 2005. (11/2015)

BCPS was named a District of Distinction by “District Administration” magazine in honor of its S.T.A.T. (Students and Teachers Accessing Tomorrow) initiative. (7/2015)

S.T.A.T. (Students and Teachers Accessing Tomorrow) was honored with a national Digital Content and Curriculum Achievement Award from the Center for Digital Education. (6/2015)

BCPS was again named one of the nation’s "Best Communities for Music Education" by the National Association for Music Merchants Foundation. Baltimore County Public Schools first received the Best Communities honor in 2004 and has every year since 2006. (4/2016)

The W.K. Kellogg Foundation has awarded a $1.5 million grant to Baltimore County Public Schools to help increase student achievement by providing all students with an effective, equitable digital learning environment. (3/2015)
