Celebrating Our 2016 Graduating Seniors
This year, we are honoring the seniors selected by their schools to receive the Ethics Award, Baltimore County Public Schools’ highest honor, given to one student from each high school who best exemplifies the values of the school system.

Ede Yasin
Ridge Ruxton School

Ede is a wonderful outgoing and hard-working student. She brings laughter and smiles to her classroom teacher, classroom staff, classmates, friends, and family. Ede has been in Ms. Riley’s classroom for two years at Ridge Ruxton School. She has been a wonderful helper in class and enjoys helping other students throughout the day.

Ede loves to go out on work enclave outings at Loch Raven Center to work in the office. While working in the office Ede collates paperwork, highlights important information that needs to be highlighted, and restocks office supplies. Ede also helps clean throughout the building, by sweeping, wiping down desks and chairs, among other cleaning responsibilities. 

Ede’s favorite CBI trips are going to Walmart, Target, and Sam’s Club to purchase items for school events. She certainly loves to shop!!  

Ede has learned so many valuable skills during her time at Ridge Ruxton. All of her teachers, friends, and other staff members throughout Ridge have seen her skills continue to grow. She has learned to use adapted coin calculators to help make change while exchanging money for items purchased. She has gain a lot of independence following her routine throughout the school day, as well as while out on CBI Trips.

Ede’s communication skills have been one of her greatest accomplishments. Ede uses verbal sounds, gesture prompts, and her Ipad independently to communicate!!

Ede is best known for her wonderful smile and friendly demeanor.
