Prevention & Intervention Programs
The educational program at Baltimore County Detention Center (BCDC) provides comprehensive services to incarcerated youth ages 14-21. Classes are geared towards preparing students to return to a comprehensive middle or high school. Five academic classes (Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics) are offered during the day. Additionally, transition classes on the subjects of parenting and returning to the home school are provided.
