Department of Physical Facilities
The Department of Physical Facilities is responsible
for the physical management of Schools and Centers,
housing over 104,000 students, along with 16 administrative,
maintenance, grounds, warehouse and transportation buildings.
The mission of the Department of Physical Facilities is
to provide support services to maintain safe, clean, and
productive educational environments that are conducive
to high student achievement. The staff is committed to
delivering quality service in construction, maintenance,
operations, and grounds with the understanding that we
are an integral part of the educational process for students
attending the Baltimore County Public Schools.
