403b/b7 Plans

There are five companies that are authorized to market 403b products and services to employees.  For more information about the 403b products and services provided by each company, please visit their web sites.  The links are provided below. The companies are:

On May 15, 2009, VALIC/VRSCO will assume the responsibility for coordinating and monitoring loan and hardship withdrawal requests from BCPS employees. Employees should:

  • Contact their 403b company representative, obtain information about their loan and/or hardship withdrawal eligibility, and request and complete the appropriate forms.
  • Go on-line and, using the Employee's Guide, complete the appropriate eligibility certificate. Print the certificate and return it and the 403b company's loan/hardship withdrawal forms to the company. Do NOT send the paperwork to VALIC/ARSCO (unless VALIC is your 403b company).

Your 403b company will review the completed loan/hardship withdrawal paperwork and the eligibility certificate. If approved, the company will process the paperwork and issue the check to you.
