At its meeting on June 11, 2019, the Board of Education of Baltimore County approved new elementary school boundaries to relieve overcrowding at Dogwood Elementary School. During this meeting, the Board accepted the boundary committee’s recommended option, effective for the 2020-2021 school year.
See the links below to view a map of the approved boundary, data tables, and an interactive mapping tool.

Schools affected by the boundary change include:

  • Dogwood Elementary School
  • Featherbed Lane Elementary School

Boundary Change Implementation

Students whose homes are zoned to a new school as a result of the boundary change decision will move when the new boundaries are effective for the 2020-2021 school year.
Families with enrolled students will be notified in March 2020 regarding how the new boundaries will affect them.
