CROMWELL VALLEY AND HAMPTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS BOUNDARY CHANGE
Relief Strategies Update in the Central Areas

In 2015, Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) announced its goal to re-establish a magnet program at Cromwell Valley Elementary School that welcomes students from a limited neighborhood attendance area via the standard enrollment process, as well as from across the region via the magnet application process. In the summer of 2016, BCPS will begin a boundary change process to create a neighborhood attendance area for Cromwell Valley Elementary School. Bookmark this page and refer to it throughout the boundary change process - we will update it regularly with new information.

At its meeting on December 6, 2016, the Board of Education of Baltimore County approved new elementary school boundaries for Cromwell Valley ES and Hampton ES.

Boundary Change Implementation
Students whose homes are zoned to a new school as a result of the boundary change decision will move when the new boundaries are effective for the 2017-2018 school year.
Families will be notified in March 2017 regarding how the new boundaries may affect them.
A detailed interactive map available via the link below provides an accurate, street-level view of the new boundaries.
