Summer Math

Welcome to Summer Math –

Summertime is here and it’s time to relax and refresh for the new school year. It is also time to practice and review so that you can keep your skills sharp and ready. Your favorite athletes, musicians, and dancers recognize the importance of maintaining their skills even during the off season. So take a few minutes and make a plan, just a few minutes a day for a few days each week will go a long way in helping you stay ready for the new year.

Office of Mathematics PreK-12 staff has identified resources to help students practice during the summer and avoid summer lost that comes from too many days away from doing math. The resources are organized into three categories fluency, skills practice, and reading of books involving mathematics.
