While most information relevant to employees is located on the BCPS Intranet, new teachers who do not yet have BCPS email accounts can find important information and reminders on this web page.
If you have accepted a position with BCPS, please apply for your BCPS e-mail account on your very first day of employment. Your BCPS e-mail account will enable you to access digital curriculum resources through the BCPS Intranet.
BCPS’ curriculum is aligned to Maryland College and Career Ready Standards.

Upcoming Professional Development Opportunities…
First- and second-year teachers, as well as experienced teachers new to BCPS for the 2014–2015 school year, are invited to attend workshops as part of the New Teacher Induction Program. Workshops will be offered from November 14, 2014 through May 22, 2015. Times, topics, and locations will vary. Attendees will be paid a stipend of $28.26 per hour.
Interested participants must register for the workshops using the Workshops – Registration Catalog on the Online Registration System at https://www.bcps.org/apps/registration/. The workshops are listed as New Teacher Induction Workshops. Registration instructions are available from the login screen.A comprehensive list of workshop titles by levels (all levels, elementary, middle, high, and secondary) is available here. Workshop registration will remain open until filled or until seven days prior to the scheduled date.
